This show is unique in that it is open to not only cars, pickups and motorcycles, but special entries such as pedal cars, bicycles, wagons, go carts plus models & remote control vehicles.
The CSI Car Show features an indoor car show with meals and activities for the entrants.
For spectators, single day admission only $5.00 with three-day pass at $10.00
An outstanding display of the region’s best cars, plus student cars is featured on the CSI campus in the Expo Center.
All of the proceeds directly benefit students enrolled in automotive programs to help enrich their learning experience.
The CSI Car Show is planned, organized and presented by students and their advisers. This event gives students the opportunity to learn responsibility, team work, social skills, and learn from a wealth of knowledge provided by you the car enthusiasts.
With shrinking budgets and state cutbacks the ASEP (Automotive) and BSEP (Auto Body) Clubs depend on this car show to raise money to continue projects and their education in these fields. The money raised will be used for things such as competitions, field trips and scholarships.
The BSEP Club is based upon the school work in the Auto Body Collision Repair Program. Students participate in as many events as possible each year, but they are sent to co-operative education job sites each year.
ASEP stands for Automotive Service Educational Program. Everyone that is involved in this club is part of the second year automotive class at C.S.I. The main purpose of this club is to help further student knowledge in the Automotive Industry. They also offer automotive services to students and faculty on the C.S.I. campus.
Both auto programs are housed in the Canyon Building with the auto show hosted nearby at Eldon Evans Expo Center on campus.
