What’s older and more fun than the 85th Annual Salem Cherry Blossom Drive & Poker Run?
Dozens of cars and drivers, plus guests, join in this springtime event in the Salem, OR, area on April 20. Cars and motorcycles are all welcome and it is only $5.00. First place winner receives $100 with a 2nd and 3rd place award.
This fun-filled event benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Salem and the Marion Polk Foodshare. The Salem Auto Club Council coordinates this event. The council has 30 clubs and organizations in its membership.
The event begins at Walery’s Pizza parking lot in West Salem with six stops including
Brunk House Pioneer Farm 1861, cafes, fruitstands, the Willamette Heritage Center and a brew house.

British Invasion of Cars, Music and More
Langley, British Columbia is the place to be on April 21 for all British Autophiles. The 8thAnnual St. George’s Day Motoring Show will be held Fort Langley Community Hall from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Over 80 cars, Motorcycles, Buses and Lorries will be there… plus a Sopwith Camel Bi Plane from the Canadian Museum of Flight. This is the aircraft featured in Charles Schulz’s comic strip Peanuts, where Snoopy is shown in combat with the Red Baron.
Hosted by the uniquely named the “Langley Area Mostly British Motoring Club”, the event is free to general public. Vehicle registration fee is $ 15.00 Langley, British Columbia is just about 15 miles north of the Canadian border across from Blaine, WA.
