Dozens of cars and dri­vers, plus guests, join in this spring­time event in the Salem, OR, area on April 20. Cars and motor­cy­cles are all wel­come and it is only $5.00. First place win­ner receives $100 with a 2nd and 3rd place award.

This fun-filled event ben­e­fits the Boys & Girls Club of Salem and the Mar­i­on Polk Food­share. The Salem Auto Club Coun­cil coor­di­nates this event. The coun­cil has 30 clubs and orga­ni­za­tions in its membership.

 

Brunk House Pioneer Farm

 

The event begins at Walery’s Piz­za park­ing lot in West Salem with six stops including

Brunk House Pio­neer Farm 1861, cafes, fruit­stands, the Willamette Her­itage Cen­ter and a brew house.

Lan­g­ley, British Colum­bia is the place to be on April 21 for all British Autophiles. The 8thAnnu­al St. George’s Day Motor­ing Show will be held Fort Lan­g­ley Com­mu­ni­ty Hall from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Over 80 cars, Motor­cy­cles, Bus­es and Lor­ries will be there… plus a Sop­with Camel Bi Plane from the Cana­di­an Muse­um of Flight.  This is the air­craft fea­tured in Charles Schulz’s com­ic strip Peanuts, where Snoopy is shown in com­bat with the Red Baron.

Host­ed by the unique­ly named the Lan­g­ley Area Most­ly British Motor­ing Club, the event is free to gen­er­al pub­lic. Vehi­cle reg­is­tra­tion fee is $ 15.00  Lan­g­ley, British Colum­bia is just about 15 miles north of the Cana­di­an bor­der across from Blaine, WA.
