Rev It Up At Pacific Raceways July 12–13
Bracketstars Hot Rod Association, The Country Square Western Wear in Auburn, Fenix Insurance Of Auburn and Pacific Raceways in Kent Present the Wildest Show in the Wilderness this July 12 & 13.
The event features a western dress up contest, car show, drag races and a hoedown party on Saturday night. Rods 1978 and older will be racing and celebrated. There is also music, valve cover racing, trophies awarded both days, cash prizes and more. See the drag racing action on the track right behind the car show arena both days. See legendary racers from the past and their cars. Featuring AA Supercharged and Pro Nostalgia, and Nitro Funny Cars. Each day is a full car show!
The event is sponsored by Bracketstars Hot Rod Association, The Country Square Western Wear in Auburn, WA, Fenix Insurance Of Auburn and Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA and Hagerty Collector Car Insurance. Car show registration is $20 per day and includes driver admission. Additional riders/spectators are $15 per day. General admission is $15 per day, with children 12 and under are free.

Other July events of interest include the Roseburg, OR, Graffiti Weekend, taking place at various locations around Roseburg, including the Veterans Hospital on the 9th, Roseburg High School on the 10th, and at Tire Pros — also on the 10th.
Also on the 10th, is the LeMay — America’s Car Museum Cruise-In. The event runs from 5pm to 8pm and is free. Bring your car and join the fun. For more info: www.lemaymuseum.org .
On the 11th — in Hood River, OR — is the WAAM Traffic Jam Cruise-In. This fun event is being held at the Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum on Air Museum Road. Hours are 5pm — 10pm and there is a $20 registration fee to bring your car. For more info: www.waamuseum.org .
East of the mountains, in Leavenworth, WA is The Shadow of the Mountain. This event is sponsored by the Tacoma Corvette Club and is taking place at the Enzian Inn. For more info: www.tacomacorvette.com . In Spokane, July 11–13 is the 43rd Annual Spokane Swap Meet. This is the biggest swap meet in Eastern Washington, so if you are looking for something rare and unusual this is the place! Sponsored by the Early Ford V8 Club of the Inland Empire. Over in Lynnwood, WA — on the 11th & 12th - is the Concours d’Elegance at The Wood — A Classic, Sports & Muscle Car Show. Held on the Lynwood Golf Course, this event usually has a couple of hundred cars on display. There are great looking cars, music, and even a wine tasting. Admission is $10 (wine tasting extra). Dawson Creek, BC holds its annual Summer Cruise 2014 in downtown on the 11th — 13th. Admission is free and the event is sponsored by the Mile Zero Cruisers. For more info: www.milezerocruisers.ca . In Chilliwack, BC, on the 12th, is the Vision Tree Cruise In, being held at the Chillwack Alliance Church from 9:30am –3:30pm. Also on the 11th through 13th is the Northwest Motorfest in Boise, ID. It is being held at the Expo Idaho fairgrounds. Admission is $7 and registration for a car is $50. Sponsored by Les Schwab Tires. For more info: www.motorfestboise.com.
In Tacoma, WA, the 13th sees the 25th Annual 442/Cutlass Car Show being held at Griot’s Garage on South 38th St. in Tacoma. It runs from 10am — 2pm. Admission is free and a $10 registration fee is applicable to show. For more info: cmcollect @yahoo.com.
Orofino, ID hosts the Orofino Car Show-n-Shine at the city park on Michigan Avenue. Admission is free. A $15 registration fee is required to show your machine. For more info: castaway @bmi.net.
Over in Missoula, MT, July 18–19 sees Mopars at the Fort. Held at Fort Missoula on South Avenue, the show runs from 6pm-10pm on the 18th and from 9:30am-4pm on Sunday. Admission is free.
